"I am so sorry for your loss. Tyler was a typical high school athlete but a wonderful person. Always in the training room getting ice or patched up. I had promised to make him rice crispy treats if he won state so I had to quickly make some the next week to uphold my promise. Tyler will always be around in all the memories he is a part of."

"My deepest sympathy to Tyler's fiance and family. As a junior, Tyler was a student in 1 of my social justice classes here at Notre Dame College. What a good and sensitive young man I found him to be! The shock and pain that you're experiencing I can only begin to imagine. My prayers for you today and in the coming months as you grieve Tyler's unexpected death and slowly heal. Take care."

"Dear families of Tyler and Tasha, I am so saddened to hear of Tyler's passing. As you may know, he was one of my students at Notre Dame College. I first met Tyler in his freshman year. He had a rought start, but soon turned his studies around and became an excellent student. He worked hard and was a pleasure to have in class. Tyler always had a smile on his face and was the most respectful young man I have ever met. I last saw Tyler in the spring when he stopped by my office to discuss his internship. He was happy and looking forward to his marriage. He had a positive outlook on life and I was certain he was going to do great things. It breaks my heart that God took him so young. I feel very blessed to have been a part of his life and to have had the opportunity to know such a wonderful young man. My prayers are with all of you. Dr. Kelley Cronin Notre Dame College"
