Robert "Bob" J. Ellingson
March 14, 1945 - June 29, 2012

Robert J."Bob" Ellingson, of Green Bay, age 67, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 29, 2012. He was born on March 14, 1945 in Green Bay to Ethel (Zehren) and the late Robert M. Ellingson. Following graduation from West High School in Green Bay, Bob graduated from Stevens Point College. He was employed by Fort Howard Paper Company in the Cost Accounting Department until his retirement in 1998.

Bob had a natural talent for golf. He spent many a time golfing with friends and family. With his natural abilities, he had a knack to excel in any sport or challenge he put his mind to such as bowling, fishing, basketball, baseball and horseshoes. He also enjoyed going to the cottage and being with family and sharing stories.

Bob is survived by his mother, Ethel Ellingson; sisters, Lynn (Richard) Kornowski, Kay (Patrick) Olsen; brothers, Charles (Sue) Ellingson, Russell (Jodie) Ellingson; nieces and nephews, Jason (Tina) Kornowski, Corey (Laura) Kornowski, Shawn (Jenny) Kornowski, Heather (Troy) Windsand, Nathan (Angie) Ellingson, Brooke Ellingson, Michael (Tiffany) Ellingson, Nick (Lauren) Olsen, Kari Olsen, Andrew Olsen; grandnieces, Aubrey and Aylah Kornowski, Avery Ellingson and a grandnephew, Quinn Olsen. Bob is further survived by aunts, uncles and many cousins.


Visitation will be held on Monday, July 2, 2012 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 330 S. Broadway,from 9:00 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am with Rev. Michael Baucom officiating. Interment will be at Nicolet Memorial Gardens.
