Oneida Nell Profitt 80 of Miamisburg (Chautauqua) " a strong Christian woman" went to be with her Lord Saturday July 28, 2012 at the Kettering Medical Center. She was a member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church and loved gardening.
She was born in Wolfe County, Ky the daughter of Wilson and Ethel (Cox) Nickell.
Oneida was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Fred, a son, Ron , a daughter, Teresa and grand-daughter, Ashley.
She is survived by 4 sons, Larry (Vickie), Kenneth (Teri), Steven (Dorothy), Richard (Sherri) Profitt and 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She also leaves 3 brothers, Arnold, Bill and Earl Nickell, and a sister, Lois Lykins.
Funeral services will be Thursday 10:00 am at the Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E. 2nd. St. Franklin. Visitation will be 5 - 8pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Winchester, Ohio. Condolences may be made to the family at www.anderson-fh.com.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to the 5th. floor staff and doctors of Kettering Medical Center who cared for mom with kindness and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church, Carlisle, Ohio.
