In loving memory of

Dalton Anthony Drinkall-Loos
September 27, 1991 - September 1, 2012

Sun Prairie-Dalton Anthony Drinkall-Loos passed onto eternal peace over the Labor Day weekend 2012. His final day was on Sunday, the day of rest. Dalton was born in Madison and would have turned 21 on the 27th of this month.

Dalton is his family's Super Hero, he gave a generous gift that most do not consider. If a man is measured by his actions then our son was more than a man he was a magnanimous man. He signed up on his own accord to be an organ donor and registered with the Wisconsin Donor Registry to donate the maximum amount possible. Little did he know on Sunday September 2nd, 2012 that he would save the lives of five transplant recipients who received Dalton's lungs, heart, kidneys, liver and pancreas. We are blessed to know that all of those surgeries were successful. We wish those families peace of mind and happiness always. His cornea, tissue, blood, bone and marrow donations will touch the lives of countless others.

As a family we would like to express our gratitude to Deputy Sheriff Brad Schroeder, the EMT's, and the doctors, nurses and staff of The University of Wisconsin Hospital and the UW Hospital and Clinics Organ Procurement Organization for their tender care of Dalton and the strong support provided to our family.

Dalton was and always will be an independent spirit who lived life to the fullest, in his own way, and on his own terms. He was a mature young man who cared deeply for those he loved and his friends. He was giving and responsible. Dalton had a huge heart and was truly a "great" friend to those who were his. He has a smile that brightens anyone's day. With a tremendous passion for technology he became the master of it. Our child was an all around beautiful spirit who filled our lives to the fullest every day.

Dalton's parents Paul and Dawn Marie (Kenney) Loos of Sun Prairie, WI and Lonnie A. (Sue Bakken) Drinkall of Mount Horeb, WI are forever changed by the joy and happiness Dalton brought to our lives. We are all very proud to call him our son. He was a wonderful brother to Derek A. Drinkall-Loos, Dartanian Loos, and Dalany Loos all of Sun Prairie, Krista (Todd) Drinkall-Verstraete of East Peoria, IL and Dane Bakken-Drinkall of Mt. Horeb. A beloved grandson of Rosemary T. (Van Hyfte/Kenney) Maier of Sun Prairie and Warren and Monica Drinkall of Annawan, IL. He is a cherished nephew of Chris and Lynn Kenney, and a treasured cousin of Chaselyn and CJ Kenney. Dalton was the proud uncle of Camden M. Verstraete and he will be dearly missed by his uncles Jeff Briggs and Craig and Kevin Drinkall along with their families from Illinois. He will be missed by countless relatives across the country.

Dalton's fiancé is Jessi Cashmore of Sun Prairie, WI. He kept his friends very close: Gabe Watson, Aaron Hazen, Cody Ryan, Tyler and Jordin Raddatz along with countless others that were dear to his heart.

Grandfather Dale E. Kenney and brother Brandon A. Drinkall preceded him into heaven.

He attended Royal Oaks Elementary School, Prairie View Middle School and Monroe Virtual High School. He Graduated from Homeschool in 2010 and was starting college at MATC in the Spring of 2013 for Information Technologies. He was employed at Eastgate Theater in Madison and truly enjoyed the camaraderie that he felt there with his co-workers and patrons. Dalton had just re-started a second job at Target Mobile and his first day was to be this week.

Saturday, September 22nd from 10am - 2pm at Eastgate Cinema's, family and friends are invited to a celebration of Dalton's life with a screening of Judge Dredd to start at 12:15pm so everyone can watch Dalton's favorite comic book character in action. We wish to thank the management of Eastgate for their tremendous donation of their facilities for this event. (5202 High Crossing Boulevard, Madison, WI)

A Drinkall family and friends gathering will be held on September 15th from 11am to 2pm at Springdale Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, 2752 Town Hall Road, Mt. Horeb, WI 53572.

Dalton's yearly traditional Lumberjack Party to celebrate his birthday will continue with this year's party on Saturday, September 29th.

Please register to become an organ donor and take the extra step to register your gift with the Wisconsin Donor Registry or the local registry in your area. http://www.uwhealth.org/yes-i-will-wisconsin-/26841

Memorials can be made to Dalton A. Drinkall at the University of Wisconsin Credit Union or to his family for the purpose of creating a scholarship fund for outstanding employees of Eastgate Cinema who plan to continue their education past High School.

I am so sorry that you are gone and I am sorry I didn't know you as an adult. May the Lord be of comfort to your Mom and Derek and the rest of your family because their hearts must be breaking. "

"Dear Dalton, I can't say much, since I never had the privilege to meet you. I can't say much although I am grieving for you and your family. I can't say much about all your friends I never met and how much they must miss you. But I can say you are the greatest gift to others, you gave your heart and soul for others to have a second chance. The Gift of Life. Dear Dalton, I can't say much, since I never had the privilege to meet you, but I can say I am sorry that I never had the honor to be your friend! Sincerely, Your Heartfelt Friend, Sandy "

"We did not know Dalton, but we knew of him, through the eyes of his loving mother Dawn Marie, talented brother Tanner, and darling sister Dalene. Like a pebble tossed into the pond, Dalton's impact on the world rippled, and reached us here in Michigan. He was loved, admired, and special to his family. He had an impact on the family we call our friends. Rest Daltion, and keep making an impact wherever you are. "
