Sally L. McCrank
March 12, 1936 - September 5, 2012

Milwaukee - Sally L. McCrank, age 76, passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2012. She was born on March 12, 1936 in Madison, the daughter of Herman and Ingaborg (Lund) Haugen both of Norway. She was united in marriage to John McCrank on August 12, 1972 and he preceded her in death in 2000.

Sally was a life member of the South Shore Yacht Club. She was past president of the Women's Auxiliary. She taught for Milwaukee Public Schools for 36 years. Sally enjoyed travel, sailing, sports cars, gardening, flamboyant clothes, parties, but most of all - people.

Survivors include her good friend and companion, Brad Roark; her brothers, Donald (Beverly) Haugen and Karsten "Casey" Haugen; 10 nieces, a nephew, other relatives and a host of friends.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her siblings, Jean Behrnd, Patricia Pracht, Harry Haugen and Elmer Haugen.

A funeral service will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Road, Madison, on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mary Pharmer officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.

I have missed her compnay since moving to Seattle where she helped me transport my kitties 10 years ago.
