"Bev and family: Our sympathy to you on the passing of Doc Reid. While living in Tipton--he was our dentist. David was in the same class as our 2nd son, James Ditzel, and we both lived on East 8th St. Since the 1980's our whole family lives in Colorado. Thoughts and prayers are w/ you Jan & Bob Ditzel"

"Dave and family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of saddness. I, as many of the Tipton community members were priveleged to know your dad. I remember him as a very caring and gentle man, even as he was drilling on my teeth.

"I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Doc was the first baseball coach I had who taught me the nuances of the game while showing respect for an impressionable kid. Hopefully your great memories help get you through this difficult time."

"I'm sorry I couldn't make the visitation. You are in my thought & prayers.
All day I have been thinking of the first visit for Donna with Doc. I panicked and headed for the front door for fresh air. When I came to Donna, Doc Reid and Dr. Kent were all there. Donna was just fine but I wore the treads from the floor mat for several days on my face. I'm sure they had a good laugh. "

"Bev, Teri, Dave and Amy- My thoughts and prayers are with you as you mourn your loss but also celebrate the life of "Doc." I have such fond and vivid memories of him and all of your family. You were the perfect neighbors as I was growing up in Tipton, always willing to host the neighborhood's nightly game of "kick the can" and quick to forgive the antics of some of the neighborhood boys! I love this picture of "Doc" because it captures his ever present smile along with the twinkle in his eye! He will be missed by all. Blessings to all of your family."

"Bev, Teri, Dave, Amy and family,
Thinking of you all during this difficult time. Doc was my dentist and softball coach. He was very helpful to me in both roles! I echo Teresa's comments about the class of 1986 softball players. He was a big part of our team's success and I am forever grateful for his work in the office and on the softball field. God Bless."

"I am so sad to hear of Doc's passing. I have such fond memories of Doc from my high school softball years. The class of 1986 was much more successful because of his knowledge and support. I still use some of his tips he gave me back then as I coach the 7th graders from Tipon to this day. He was a great man! Gone but never forgotten...
