Matina Dawn Wiggins

Funeral services for Matina Dawn Wiggins, 50, of Mechanicsville who died Sunday, September 16, 2012 will be held Thursday, September 20, 2012 at 5:00 pm at Fry Funeral Home, Tipton, with Rev. Carol Slaton officiating.
Visitation will be held from 3-5 pm prior to the service at 5 pm on Thursday. A memorial has been established in her memory.

Matina was born April 3, 1962, the daughter of Henry Marvin and Dorothy June Figenbaum Ray in Mattoon, Illinois. She graduated from Mattoon High School and received her LPN license from Kirkwood in 1997. On May 18, 1997, Matina was united in marriage to Thomas Allen Wiggins in Tipton.

Matina is survived by her husband, Thomas Wiggins of Mechanicsville, Iowa; daughters, Misty (Bobby) Bland of Oxford, Mississippi, Latishia Lovell of Mechanicsville, Iowa; son, Clyde (Sabrina) Lovell of Keystone, Iowa; 4 grandchildren, Leah, Kaydance, Thomas (T.J.), Trevin; mother-in-law, Marilyn Chase of Mechanicsville, Iowa; sisters, Marsha Bryant of Cowden, Illinois, Marcella Sager of Charleston, Illinois; brother, Mark Ray of Clinton, Iowa; and half- brother, Glenn Ray of Sullivan, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, James Merritt; and half-sister, Becky Emel.
