"When I recently lost my husband, a good friend to the Moericke family, Mark was one of the first people to stop at the house to offer any kind of support he was able to provide. We had such a great time reminiscing over the old "Lippert" days and bon fires up at Rollingstone. In honor of Bill, Mark gave me his medal from the service stating that if anyone deserved a medal for the things they did in their life, it was Bill. Mark was a truly unique individual and to know him was to love him. I'm sure he and Bill are enjoying eachother now and watching over all that they cared for. They will both remain forever near. With heartfelt sympathy to the entire family . ."

"the memory that comes to mind when I think of Uncle Mark is when I was 10. He and Uncle Chris took Kenny, Samantha and I to some type of party or concert (something like that) out in the middle of a corn field. We are talking 26 yrs. ago so my memory is a bit clouded but I always remember having fun when we would visit the Moericke side of the family in WI! He will be missed greatly! Sorry for the family's loss. God Bless"

"There are so many memories that seem like just yesterday. He was one of a kind. I don't remember a time in my life when he wasn't part of it. From a little girl to a grown adult he has always been there for me. I will never forget all the embarrassing moments he gave me or how much he loved me. From him singing the best country songs to us camping with the family, it will always be in my mind. Even though it has only been a short time, I miss him already. I can't believe he's not with us anymore... My thoughts and prayers go out to the rest of the family. Love you always"
