"I've left little notes on the memorial sites and Jay's Facebook as I've been reading what people have written. On this site there is a heading that states "What made Jay so unique and special"..well...EVERYTHING I never met some as kind as this man was or patient and hoping some of this has rubbed off on me. Jay loved life, loved people, children animals...always willing to drop anything and help a friend. Many times that friend was me. I have been so blessed to have known this man. There will never be anyone like him in my life again and I can say that for certain. "

You were a fine son-in-law from the beginning until the end. I love you, Son!"

"Jay was a very special person & gifted. He always had a smile and was a great person to know and work with. He never complained and just did his work. I think the funniest story I heard about him, was just recently when his Dad Herb was telling us about the deer camera's for the reunion and some of the pictures they took. Leave it to Jay. He will be missed."
