MUSCATINE, Iowa - Jean J. Weiersheuser, 92, formerly of Muscatine, died on Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at Pathway Senior Living in Bartlett, Illinois.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend David Morris will officiate. Memorials may be made to the Wesley United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at the funeral home.

Jean was born on September 14, 1920, in Phillip, South Dakota, the daughter of Joseph J. and Grace Baker Rogers. She married H.R. "Bob" Weiersheuser on August 20, 1942 in Missouri.

She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church, a past president of Muscatine General Hospital Auxiliary and a former member of the Pilot Club.

Those left to honor her memory include a son, Steven Weiersheuser and wife Kathy, of North Aurora, Illinois; a daughter, Susan Weiersheuser, of Bartlett, Illinois; three grandchildren, Kim, Bob and Jeff; and six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two brothers, Gordon and Lawrence Rogers.
