"Jack, This is the guy who's back you covered for so many years when I was a young teacher. I have so many good memories of your compassion for us who were learning. I still have a couple of your works, drawen during a teacher meeting, hanging in our home. To your family and friends....Once in a long time a gem comes along and brightens all of our lives....Jack was that gem! Our thoughts and prayers are with those who have lost a father, grandfather, and friend. Till we meet again Jack! Larry/Carolyn Strickler Johnston High School retired 1970-2000 "

"I was a student of Mr. Noah in Johnston High S chool. He was very inspirational and always encouraged his students to do their best work. He was a great artist and I was always amazed at how quickly he could pull a drawing together. I took as many art classes as I could from him. He encouraged me to draw and grow as an artist. I still draw and on occasion paint when time allows. I still have some of his sketches he used as an example in class. He was a favorite teacher of mine and will not be forgotten."

Michael Hendrickson wrote on Nov 29, 2012:

"I was a student of Mr. Jack Noah and member of the Johnston High School graduating class of 1978. Mr. Noah did not introduce me to photography but through my interactions with him and the photo club he taught at JHS I decided to pursue photography as a career. I have been a business owner / photographer for 28 years and I owe a large part of my success to the many hours spent learning all he had to teach. He was a great teacher and person. He will be missed. Michael Hendrickson"
