Donald T. Kvale
March 3, 1931 - December 3, 2012

Madison - Donald Kvale, age 81 passed away on Monday, December 3, 2012 at Agrace HospiceCare. He was born on March 3, 1931 in Columbus, Wisconsin, the son of Alvin "Ted" and Viola (Fahrenkopf) Kvale. Donald served in the United States Army during 1952 to 1953. On September 8, 1957 Donald was united in marriage to Esther Moen. He was a lifelong member of Spring Prairie Lutheran Church in Keyeser. In his spare time Donald enjoyed fishing, boating and riding the countryside looking at nature and animals. Donald will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Esther of 55 years and his son, Tom Kvale both of Madison. He is also survived by his two sisters; Joann Johnson of DeForest and Marilyn Smith of Whitewater, a brother; Richard Kvale of Rio, four step brothers and sisters, three sisters-in-law and three brothers-in-law. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, step mother Mabel Kvale, two step brothers, two brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law. Funeral services will be held at SPRING PRAIRIE LUTHERAN CHURCH, N509 County Road C, Keyeser, WI on Friday, December 7, 2012 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Sylvia Lee-Thompson officiating. A visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 1:00 pm until the time of services. Burial will follow at Spring Prairie Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Agrace HospiceCare and to Pastor Sylvia for all their love, prayers and wonderful care given to Donald and our family.
