Despina Angelakis wrote on Aug 26, 2013:

"Let me tell you something about my Dad. Through my eyes, his youngest daughter, he was my hero. He was always extremely self-confidant and never let anyone or anything intimidate him. He was an extremely intelligent man when it came to business and finances. He gave me everything I that I ever needed, wanted and more. His favorite saying was "I ousia einai mia" meaning that "only one troth exists." He took pride in everything he did, when I needed him he was there, when I was sad He new the exact thing to say to cheer me up, or bring a smile to my face. His robust exuberance for life was contagious. He also never allowed anyone or anything to get in his way. Education for his two daughters was always a priority. He referred to this as a "gold bracelet that can never be taken from you." I will always love him and keep him in my heart and soul. "

"Everyone should be so lucky as to have had an uncle like my Theo Gerorge. He was an angel on earth, hence his name. He grew up without a father, in the war torn times, destitute and very poor, yet this little boy grew to be the most generous, optimistic and good hearted person that I will ever know. My mother Irene (his only sibling) would tell me stories of their lives and how humble and caring her little bother was. How he nearly excaped death at a very young age when he accidently fell into a ditch and slit his throat as he was trying to sell Greek bagels for the family. As a mischievous little girl I might have gotten into some trouble at times, and my uncle George would always try to teach me right from wrong. One of my craziest memories was him drawing a "pretend" circle on the floor where I was suppose to stand and look him in the eye as he lectured me....not an easy thing to do at 5 years old, but my uncle always needed to teach me many lessons....and thank God he cared enough, although at the time I never understood his logic..no one does until you have kids of your own and then it all clicks. He was the life of the party, the first to extend a hand and the first to cheer you up when things were dismal. All of us here, his loving sister and her family, will miss this angle on earth who has left us, but his heart will be forever be cherished and never forgotten. If you were lucky enough to have known Mr. Geroge Angelakis then you knew that you had a friend for life. I will miss you so much Theo, you are my hero, for you have lived your life with passion and love for everyone. My condolences to Thea Elefteria, Rosie, Fransisco & boys & Despina. May you find comfort in knowing that he is now an angel up high, and taking care of you as he always has and always will. I love you and miss you immensely. Anna Stamatoulakis-Plante and Familiy"
