"Howzit was the way we greeted each other by phone or in person, I met Sue about 30 yrs ago in Kona where she was on a escorted trip with a friend (Carol Jean) and decided to stay longer. We became instant friends and kept in constant contact with each other, over the years when she then became affectionately known as Haole Sue, whenever she came home to Hawaii for visits we would always take one day and drive around the island (Oahu), trying new places to eat, drink, and go to the Pro Bowl (go Packers), cut all 4 of my nephews' hair. She was and always will be my friend. Rest in peace Haole, fly with the angels and soar high above. Me Kealoha Pumehana Haole Sue.......Ellie/Anty T"

"Aunt Sue was always smiling, and always had some craft going - whether it was quilting or making something for somebody. I remember always spending Christmas Eve with she & Grandma Lois, and almost always getting a flannel nightgown that would be worn to pieces just in time for the next Christmas gift. I never really understood her love of Hawaii and Kona in particular until we visited there in 2003, and sure understood from that point forward. We haven't stayed in touch very well with Sue and David and Doug, unfortunately, but thinking of her sure makes me smile."

"I wish I could remember more--Mom says we spent some time at her house when I was very young, being that her brother was my excellent Uncle and her nephew is my cousin Doug whom I have not seen in so very long. We hope to have the chance to reconnect this Spring. Please do reach out to us! -Kelsey Wollin (Sue, and Lynsey too...)"

"I have great memories during the high school days with Sue. She was the only one of us that a car for us to bomb around in. Each of us gave a dollar for gas and we would have a full tank. Good times at Smitty's Hall dancing or hanging around."
