Charlie Edward Clark, age 74, of Sigourney, formerly of Albia died on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at the Manor House Care Center in Sigourney. He was born on September 9, 1938 in Albia to David and Maxine (Chedester) Clark.

Charlie enjoyed music, wood burning pictures, Chocolate malts, and riding around in a car. He especially enjoyed being around people.

He is survived by his brother, Eugene (Jeannette) Clark of oxford, Uncle Edward and Aunt Toottie Clark of Albia, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, December 31, 2012 at Sinnott Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Albia with Pastor Rick Smith officiating. Burial will follow services in Oakview Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, December 31, 2012 from 1:00-2:00 pm at the funeral home in Albia.

"I was a caretaker of Charlie and charlie was special we all loved him he loved chocolate and he loved the girls when they smiled at him. My favorite memory of Charlie is when i was giving a pop one day he kissed my hand and and gave the big sweet smile of his he will be greatly missed he was a part of our family and we loved him."
