Clarence B. Hildebrand, 93, of Woolstock, died Sunday, January 6, 2013, at Southfield Wellness Community. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church, with Rev. Mike Kroona and Rev. Tony Ede officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Clarence Burdell Hildebrand, son of Norbert John and Frieda Christina (Schrage) Hildebrand, was born October 18, 1919, on a farm near Powersville, IA. He was educated in Greene, Iowa Schools, and graduated from Charles City High School. In 1940, he married Lucille Reynolds in Charles City. The couple resided in the Charles City area until they moved to Woolstock in 1945. Clarence was a life long grain and livestock farmer.
Lucille passed away in 1998. He married Lucille Wilkins in 2000 in New Hampton. Lucille Wilkins died in 2012. Clarence lived on his farm southeast of Woolstock until he moved to Southfield in 2012.
He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, David and Susan Hildebrand of Hillsboro, OR, Fred and Jo Hildebrand of West Falls, NY, Roy and Kathryn Hildebrand of Woolstock; seventeen grandchildren, Joanne (Troy) Peterson, Raymond (Holly) Hildebrand, Bonnie (Pete) Hoebel, Carmen (Steve Ramirez) Hildebrand, Brian Hildebrand, Amber (Charlie) Robinson, Rodney Hildebrand, Lindsay Clark, Tony (Patti) Hildebrand, Amy (Bill) Anderson, Andrea (Jim) Terry, Erica (Travis) Mathis, Megan (Jon) Ducker, Thomas (Katie) Hildebrand, Emily (Jason) Pontius, Rachel (Daniel) Corron and Susan Hildebrand; thirteen great-grandchildren, Kaylynn and Karl Hildebrand, Levi Robinson, Allyson, Alivia and Annalise Hildebrand, Alex and Claire Anderson, Bryan and Ariel Terry, Andrew and Kathryn Pontius, Isla Lucille Corron; one great-great grandchild due in early 2013; brother, Neal (Donna) Hildebrand of Moraga, CA; a sister-in-law, Dona Hildebrand of Monument CO.
In addition to his wives, he was preceded in death by his parents; son, James Anthony Hildebrand in 1956 and his brother, Floyd Hildebrand.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, a Master Pork Producer and served on the Woolstock Telephone and Cass Electric Board.

"Last saw Clarence at Schrage Family Reunion in Charles City and am sad to hear of his passing. Condolences for our very large family. From this branch of the family, My Mother was Gramma Freida's baby sister LaVonne and I with My wife Susan, Son Cale and his wife Kelly thier 2yr old Adam.
