"God blessed me with being able to meet Ashley and her family after Thanksgiving while she was at Kettering. I adopted the family to help out with Christmas. I was also able to help with support from our Cancer Hope group at Southbrook Church I gave Ashley a prayer pager that she loved. She loved the fact that every time the pager went off someone prayed for her that she didn't even know. Ashley I pray you are flying with the angels and free from all the pain from your earthly body. "My son Jason (who has now passed on) was Trevyn's best friend when they were growing up. We never had the chance to meet Ashley and now we will have to wait until it is our turn to pass on. Ashley sounds like a wonderful fun-loving person, mother and wife.
All day yesterday, before I found out about Ashley's passing, as I was praying for her, I kept feeling like someone was tapping me on my shoulder or lightly poking me in my back. I dare say it was Jason trying to tell me that she was in up there with him in a better place where we all call heaven. May you rest in peace Ashley. John and I look forward to meeting you in the next world.

"I can remember when I first met you...You were about 7 and my mom and I were getting ready to move in next door. Over the next 8 years our lives were filled with many backyard football games, hide and seek, video games, fights, friends and lots of laughter and I had the pleasure of watching you grow into a young woman. My only regret is not making an effort to get out to Bethel and visit you and the family while you were all together. I may not have seen you in over a decade but I thought about you and your family quite often. Know you will forever be missed. "
