"Anita, you may not remember me... I worked for Scott in 1984 & 85 in the Maintenance Engineering Dept. of the gasifiaction plant in Beulah, ND. As short of time as it was I really liked working with Scott. I've always wondered what Scott was up to over the years and today I did a Google search and found this obituary. I wished I would have pursued this search years ago. It came as a surprise but, in an odd way, was good to at least find this. My sympathies are with you and trust that time will soften the loss."

Jerry Junkins wrote on Feb 8, 2013:

"Anita, I cannot express to you how shocked and deeply saddened I was to hear of Scott's passing. Words alone cannot describe the man. You had to know him. There are so many things that made Scott special to so many people. I have many memories of Scott........all good. I was inspired by Scott's knowledge, his truthfulness, integrity, but most of all by his kindness. He was a true gentleman in every sense of the word. Just being around him was a joy. He will be missed by so many. He was my true friend. May God take him in his loving arms and keep him always. "
