Eleanor Rossow

Eleanor A. Rossow, 79, died Monday, February 25, 2013 at a local nursing home. She was born October 12, 1933 to the late Oliver and Florence (Walker) Desotell in Green Bay, WI. On October 20,1956. Eleanor married Vernon Rossow. He preceded her in death on January 2, 2001. Eleanor worked for Diana Manufacturing, where she met her husband of 56 years. She also worked for Gady Building Maintenance. She is survived by four sons, Mark, Doug, Randall and Kevin; one daughter, Barbara (Alan) Ledvina-Luxemburg; grandchildren, Krystal (Jason) Szaroletta, Jesse and Vanessa Rossow; one great-granddaughter, Jessica Szaroletta; brother, Norbert (Grace) Desotell; brothers and sister-in-law, Jerry Rossow, Kenneth (Sue) Rossow; sister-in-laws, Violet Rossow, Hazel Thurk, Marie Desotell, Mary Desotell and Helen Desotell; In addition to her husband and parents, Eleanor is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Sandra; sisters, Janice Desotell, Hazel Franscilla, Grace (Norbert) Bergman; brothers, Ralph "Bud" Desotell, Ronald Desotell, Dean Desotell; sisters-in-law, Ruth (John) Oshefsky, Margaret (James) Williams; brother-in-law, Roger Rossow; mother and father-in-law, Walter and El...[more]

Rossow. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 28, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1484 Ninth St., from 10:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon with Rev. Patrick Beno officiating. Burial will be in Nicolet Memorial Gardens. The family would like to thank the staff at San Luis Nursing Home and the many volunteers for their care and compassion for Eleanor.
