Dale Fast

Dale John Fast was born on June 13, 1953 in Mountain Lake, Minnesota to Harry and Alice (Stoesz) Fast. He was baptized at the Cornerstone Church in Mountain Lake. He attended elementary school in Delft and Butterfield and graduated from Mountain Lake High School with the Class of 1971. On April 17, 1976 Dale was united in marriage to Marcia Klassen in Mountain Lake. This marriage was blessed with three children, Jesse, Ben, and Lindsey. After marriage, Dale and Marcia lived on a farm north of Windom where Dale farmed and was a Seed Salesman. Dale passed away on Friday evening, August 7, 2009, at the Windom Area Hospital at the age of 56. Dale held offices on the Windom Co-op/Countrypride Board, Farm Bureau, Soybean Growers, and the Mountain Lake Golf Course Board. He enjoyed his '57 Chevy car, golfing, farming, and the South Dakota State Jackrabbits, but his greatest enjoyment in life was his children and grandchildren.
