Helen Margaret Matthews

(nee Sullivan) Age 89, of Edgewater, FL, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2009. She was born on June 12, 1920, in Westfield, MA. She was happily married on November 16, 1946, to George Henry Matthews, also of Westfield, MA. She moved to Milwaukee, WI with her family in 1959, and lived there until 2004. From 2004 until her passing, she and George lived in Edgewater, FL.She was a longtime employee of A & A Mfg. Co., Inc., of New Berlin, WI, and retired in 1984. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lillian (nee Cronin), her older brother Charles Sullivan, and her older sister Grace Harrington (nee Sullivan). She is survived by her husband, George, of Edgewater, FL; her children, Gregory (Carol) Matthews of Verona, WI, Donna Zaltman (Mark) of Chicago, IL and Kevin of Edgewater, FL. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, numerous other relatives, friends and associates.Her kindness and generosity will be remembered by all who were privileged to know her.
