Mary E. Church, 81 of Plattsmouth, NE, formerly of Dakota City passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2009. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 27, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. with visitation one hour prior to the service at the United Methodist Church of Dakota City, Nebraska with Pastor Joan Frenzel and St. Luke's Chaplain Cheryl Johansen officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Auust 26, 2009 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the church. Mary was born in rural Emerson NE to Fred and Esther (Collier) Schincke on October 14, 1927. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, her children and grandchildren.
