Francis X. Krahn

Peacefully passed away, surrounded by his family, on May 25, 2011, at age 85. Husband of Shirley (nee Lutsch). Father of Barbara (Robert) Cooney, Mark (Beth Anne) Krahn, the late James Krahn and Janet (the late David Watton) Krahn. Grandfather of Eric and Peter Cooney; Jacob, Nicholas, Christopher, Benjamin, and the late Allison Krahn. Brother of Gene (Phyllis) Krahn. Brother-in-law of Doris Krahn and Arleen Lutsch. Also loved by nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Preceded in death by parents Mathias and Anna Krahn; and siblings Tillie (Nick) Jungen, Bill (Marie), Tracy (Gene) Walter, Margaret (Joe) Casper, Marie (Joe) Marks, Elizabeth (Stanley) Walter, Matt (Vivian), Herman and Ed (Evelyn) Krahn.Francis was nicknamed "Pumpkin Man" because, for over 40 years, he sold pumpkins and produce at his home. He was a lifetime resident of New Berlin where he was an employee for the City of New Berlin Highway Department for 35 years. LUKE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 18000 West Greenfield Avenue, on Wednesday at 10:00 AM until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow at Holy Apostles Catholic Church Cemetery.
