Ruth entered her eternal home on September 3, 2011, at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Laverne F. Redfield (1924 -1945), and beloved wife of the late Frederick M. Hassler (1917-1980). Loving stepmother of Susan (Cecil) Hutson, Majorie (Bob) Evans, Fred Hassler, Richard (Ellen) Hassler, and Tom Hassler. Loving mother of John (Sally) Hassler, Kathryn (Jerry) Herbek, Karl (Laura) Hassler, Nancy (Jim) Fennessey, Michael (Rae Ann) Hassler, Gina (Don) Moldstad, Peggy (Jim) Prekop, Peter (Beth) Hassler, Paul Hassler, Miriam (Jim) Prochnow, and Joel (Lori) Hassler. Proud grandmother of 44 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren. Survived by sisters Emmy and Aggie. Preceded in death by son Joel Keith, a granddaughter, a grandson, & great-grandson. Also preceded in death by 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Visitation will be held on Sunday September 11, 2011 from 2:30 PM until 4:00 PM with funeral service to follow at Grace Lutheran Church 1209 North Broadway in Milwaukee.
