John Joseph Gierl

Of New Berlin, was born into Eternal Life on October 21, 2011 at the age of 49, after a long and courageous battle with lung cancer. John was husband to his beloved wife, Sara (a.k.a. "Crash") (Nee Leitzke). He was son to Elizabeth (Nee Kalka) and Harry Gierl. He will be deeply missed by his brother Keith (Karen), and sisters Susan (Christopher) and Nancy. He will also be missed by his extended family, father-in-law Norbert Leitzke, sister-in-law Susan (Patrick) and brother-in-law Daniel (Suzie). He was a loving uncle to Jennifer, Kristy, Scott (Lisa), Curtis, Paul, John (Jessica), Erin (Samuel), Kailie, and Alex.As the owner of Wisconsin Communications, he was the mentor and close friend to his loyal staff Adam and Jason. He was loved and respected by his many friends and business associates. A man with mischief in his eyes, John will be remembered for his hysterical sense of humor.
