Richard A. Stachowiak

Age 64, found peace on Wednesday, December 14, 2011, following an 8 year battle with cancer. He was surrounded by family. Beloved husband of Barbara (Nee Graser) for over 44 years. Loving father of Kim (Matt) Roncone, Shawn, Jon (Lisa) and Amanda Stachowiak. The best grandpa ever of Chris Stachowiak and his fiance Kate, Cody, Alyssa and Dylan Stachowiak, Jacob and Sam Roncone. Also survived by a sister-in-law Darcy, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Devoted son of the late Alex M. Stachowiak and Agnes J. (Nee Karlovich) Stachowiak-Prausa. Dear brother to the late Alex T. Stachowiak.A proud Army veteran, Rick served his country honorably during the Vietnam War. He was awarded numerous decorations and medals. He was a retired employee of Milwaukee Carpenter's District Council, Local #344 and was an employee of the Milwaukee Brewer's for the last 5 years. A longtime member of the Boy Scouts of America, Richard also served as a Boy Scout Leader.
