Born to Eternal Life, Thursday, April 5, 2012. Age 90. Formerly of Ontonagon, MI. Beloved husband of the late Kathryn M. (nee Koslovich). Loving father of Donna (Acasio) Roche, Mary (Jim) Erceg, Deborah (Craig) Schaning, Joseph (Linda), Timothy (Laura Camilli), Benjamin (Patricia), John (Jean Groshek) and Jerry Yanasak. Adoring grandfather of 21, proud great-grandfather of 13. Preceded in death by parents Jan and Hedwig (nee Socha), son-in-law Brian Spottek, grandson Jeffrey Spottek, 6 brothers and 3 sisters. Further survived by sister Anna Richmond, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Longtime member of United Brotherhood of Carpenters Local 264, Knights of Columbus Council 3702, St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church and Sacred Heart Parish. Former volunteer of The Marian Center and member of the Monday Night Prayer Group. He was an avid gardener, wine maker and an admirer of nature.Visitation at the Funeral Home, Wednesday, April 11 from 4:00-8:00 PM. Rosary service at 7:00 PM.
