Margaret O'Callaghan, "Marge"

Born Marguarita Salaty, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2012, at the age of 81. Born March 31, 1931 to Michael Salaty and Frances Albricki.The young Polish girl married a tall Irish twin and had five children. Living in West Allis most of her life, she was an active member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish. She worked for the Post Office, raised her family then retired from Kearney & Trecker Corp at age 60.Marge survived a stroke at age 47, her first bout with breast cancer at age 60 and lots of bad hospital food at the end of her life. What a trooper! She dedicated her life to her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry and is survived by her children Kathy Ford, Tim-Dan-Tom and Linda McCabe and three grandchildren, Kelly O'Callaghan, Sara and Ryan Ford.Marge loved to laugh, tell jokes, play games and win nickels from her friends playing Sheepshead. In her later years, she was a Wii bowling and trivia champ.Marge succumbed to pneumonia and complications of recurrent breast cancer.
