Ronald S. Minami, "Buster"

Found his peace on July 20, 2012, at age 93. Beloved husband of Ruth for 61 years. Treasured and loving father of Terry Minami and Robert Minami. Devoted and honored grandfather of Sean Fuqua, Amy Fuqua and Matthew Minami. Dear brother-in-law of Clara Yakushi and Quentin Ikezoe. Also loved by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ronald proudly served his country as a member of the 442 Regimental Combat Team, I Company, in WWII. He later received the Congressional Gold Medal. He was a member of American Legion Post 449, Wisconsin JACL, and Friendship Builders. The family wishes to thank the staff at Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center, 4th and 8th floors, for their compassionate and loving care. Heartfelt thanks to our special angel Archie. Memorial Gathering at the Funeral Home on Friday, August 3, at 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, in Union Grove.
