Mimi was born in Milwaukee on March 9, 1915 and died on July 28, 2012 at the age of 97. In 1941 she married her loving husband David Mittler who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Emily Schieber, and one brother, Albert Uitz Jr. Loving mother of Sandi (Dennis) Rens and Joyce (Jerry) Wollenzien. Dear grandmother of Todd (Nichole) Rens, Troy (Christy) Rens, Brett (Brenda) Wollenzien and Chad Wollenzien. Cherished great-grandmother of Aria, Ethan, Davis, Linnea and Kai. She is also survived by brother Arthur Uitz and loved by many other relatives and friends. Hilda, "Mimi," dedicated her life to making a warm and loving home for her husband Dave and daughters Sandi and Joyce. She will be remembered for her warm hugs, extraordinary cooking, her chocolate chip cookies, and her ability to love---especially her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
