Called Home to the Lord on August 17, 2012, at the age 87. Beloved husband of Johanna (nee Pyzyk) for 67 years. Devoted father of Dr. Richard (Carol) Steliga. Proud grandfather of Dr. Matthew (Kelly) Steliga; Lieutenant Commander Mark (Jenn) Steliga, US Navy; Dr. Andrea (Dr. Ben) Phillips; and Michael Steliga. Great-grandfather of Maya, William, Caitlin, Allison, and Claire. Also loved by other relatives and friends.Casey proudly served his country in the US Army during WWII and provided 40 years of dedicated service to Allis Chalmers as an electrical assembler on the world's largest transformers.Casey was known for his great faith in God, tremendous work ethic, and always putting his family first. He was a kind, prayerful, and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Casey's faith in Christ was the foundation from which he drew strength and love. He cherished spending time with his family and fishing. He led a life of service to his church and those he loved.
