Peacefully entered Heaven on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 after a hard fought battle with a brain tumor. Age 37. Beloved mother of Kennan. Lifelong friend and companion of Scott Fischer. Beautiful daughter of Judy Block and Mark Block. Devoted sister of Stacy, Wendy, Leanne and Markie. Awesome "Auntie Shell" to Kylie, Taylor, and Zachary. Also will be dearly missed by aunts: Sue, Pat, Kris; by mother-in-law Donna (Gordy); and cousins: Shannon, Tommy, Colleen, Tony, Megan, Brian, and all of their children. Preceded in death by her grandparents.Visitation will be at the Funeral Home on Sunday, December 16, 12:00"3:00 PM. Funeral Service at 3:00 PM. Memorials appreciated to the family to be used for brain tumor research.Employed at Children's Hospital since 1999, graduating from Alverno College Nursing Program in 2000. Nursing was her lifelong dream. She was especially generous and passionate about her family.
