Delone E. "Deeter" Smith ROCK ISLAND, Illinois -- Delone E. "Deeter" Smith 63, of New Boston, Illinois, died on Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at Trinity in Rock Island, Illinois. Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2013, at the New Boston United Methodist Church. Burial will take place in Greenmound Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until 2 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2013, at the church. Memorials may be made to the church. The Fippinger Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. 'Deeter' was born on October 14, 1949, in Moline, Illinois, the daughter of Robert and Dorothy Brier Brown. She attended the local schools. She married Michael Nelson and Michael Lilly. She then married Harvey Smith on August 8, 1993 in Keithsburg, Illinois. She owned and operated "Deeters" in New Boston for nine years until retiring in 2011. She was a member of the Community Club.
