Larry Umble

Larry Umble, 69, of Melcher-Dallas passed away, Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Pella Regional Health Care. Larry was born to Carl & Mary Ann (Busick) Umble on January 18, 1944 in Dallas Iowa. He received his education from Melcher High School graduating in 1962. Larry was united in marriage to Colleen Clark on January 25, 1965 in Princeton, Missouri. He was employed by John Deere in Ankeny until retirement. Larry enjoyed coon hunting, reading western books, fishing, watching WWE wrestling, and picking on his grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Melcher-Dallas. Interment will be in Dallas Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 9,2013 from 5-7 p.m. at Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Melcher-Dallas. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Umble family.
