Gary Lowrey

Gary N. Lowrey, 70, of Fort Dodge, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013, at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home. A service honoring Gary's life will be at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, at the Gunderson Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jim Davis officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Memorials may be directed to the discretion of the family. Gary is survived by his children, Gary Lowrey Jr., Tim Lowrey and Lorrie Lowrey; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Jenice Craven (Joe) Gradisar, Colorado; Denice Connolly, Hawaii; Kay Randels, California and Gail Blunk, South Carolina; along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter Lisa, his mother Bonnie, his father Neil and his step-father Oren Craven. Gary Neil Lowrey was born September 30, 1942, in Fort Dodge and was reared and educated in Fort Dodge. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved fishing and the Green Bay Packers. Gary will be remembered for his sense of humor and his love of old western movies. [more]
