Leonard is survived by his wife of 60 years, Harriet of Port Washington and their children: Jean Clark (Mike Perkins) of Sturgeon Bay, Linda (Kent) Bergemann of Mequon, Steve (Denise) Augustin of Menomonee Falls and Debbie Buchholz (Marvin Fechter) of Grafton. He is further survived by his grandchildren: Rich, Melissa and Daniel Clark, Mark and Michael Bergemann, Andrew and Sara Augustin, Angela, Ashley and Nicholas Buchholz, 1 great-grandchild and 1 on the way, son-in-law Dick Clark of Sturgeon Bay, brothers-in-law: Herb Possley of Cedar Grove and Ted (Carol) Burkel of Fredonia, sisters-in-law: Dorothy Augustin of Brookfield, Helen Burkel of Port Washington, Arlene Fechter of Newburg and Donna (John) Knoeck of West Bend, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his son-in-law Bob Buchholz and siblings: Joe, Fred, Norbert, Bernadine Hoffman Possley, Leander, Mary Bahr and Reuben. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 5PM on Friday, April 19 at St. Peter of Alcantara Catholic Church, 1800 N. Wisconsin Ave., Port Washington. He will be laid to rest with full military honors at St. Mary's Mausoleum, Port Washington. The family will receive visitors at church on Friday from 3-5PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Peter of Alcantara Catholic Church or the Ozaukee County Stars and Stripes Honor Flight.
