Russell Lyle John Reimer, Sr., 61, passed away early Saturday morning, April 20th, after a courageous battle with liver cancer. Born in Green Bay, WI. November 19, 1951 he is the son of the late Alfred, Sr. and Gloria (Duford) Reimer. He served his country in the Army from 1970 to 1975. Russell married the former Sandra Socha on October 7, 1978 at the Assumption B.V.M. Church in Pulaski, WI. He worked many years in maintenance at the Old Fort Square Building on Broadway, m ade many friends as owner/operater of Kanari Kourier, Inc. and spent the last few years at Metal Supermarkets, retiring in 2008. Russell enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and many family and friends. He also enjoyed music, card games, the Packers, Brewers, fishing, and having conversation and laughs over coffee. His laughter and sense of humor will surely be missed by those who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant sister, Mary; sister-in-law, Mary Reimer and father-in-law, Edmund Socha. Until we meet again, may God continue to bless each and every one of you. Love to everyone with all my heart and thank you for your remembrance of us in this hour. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue, from 4:00 pm until the funeral service at 6:00 pm with Rev. Hal Toenjes officiating. Military honors will follow. Interment will be at Nicolet Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established. Online condolences may be expressed at www.lyndahl.com.
