Pamela M. Emerson

Services for Pamela Emerson, age 53, will be Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the Celebrate Community Church in Knoxville. Interment will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Melcher. Pamela was born August 23, 1959 in Iowa City, Iowa to Delmar and Patricia Hoch. She was raised in Knoxville and attended Knoxville High School. She was blessed with four children: Kimberly, Aubrey, John and Joel. Pamela had worked at Rollscreen, Mercy Medical Center, and EDS. In 2004 she was disabled in a motorcycle accident. Pamela loved her dogs: BooBoo, Piggy, Elly, and Chloey. She was very caring, compassionate, and loved to laugh. She had a great sense of humor and often did things that were goofy and off the wall. Preceding her in death are her mother, Pat Bettis, grandmother, Vera Salsberry, stepsister, Chris Cooper, and brother-in-law, Bob Kaplan. Pamela is survived by her children:Kimberly Murphy, Aubrey (James) Vanwaardhuizen, John Followill, and Joel Followill; 9 grandchildren; her father, Delmar (Gloria) Hoch; and siblings: Sherrie (Doug) Marshall, Brenda Kaplan, and Mary Kay Gould. Also surviving are many extended family and many friends.
