Helen Lucile (Rosenbohm) Richards Helen Lucile (Rosenbohm) Richards was born on March 6, 1919 on the family farm in Atchison County, Missouri, the daughter of Charley and Rosa (Cooper) Rosenbohm. Helen entered into eternal peace on Saturday, May 11, 2013 in Omaha, Nebraska. Helen's early years were spent in rural Atchison County, Missouri. She graduated from Westboro High School with the Class of 1936. She later took a correspondence class in bookkeeping. On December 28, 1938 she was united in marriage to Morris Glen Richards in Harlan, Iowa. The couple resided in Northboro, Iowa, Wichita, Kansas and San Diego, California before returning to Northboro. Helen was a dedicated wife and mother. She served her community as the "Avon Lady" for over 25 years. She also helped her husband by running errands and doing bookkeeping for their business. Helen was active in her community where she belonged to a bridge club, pinochle club, birthday club, was a member of the Blanchard Eastern Star, the Northboro UMW, and the Northboro Betterment Committee. dy. She also enjoyed spending winters in Texas and traveling. She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Donald G. Richards; parents; and brother, Wayne Rosenbohm. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Lucile Shepard and husband Tom of Bellevue, NE and Louise Stokes and husband Mike of Omaha, NE; sister, Dorothy Bayless of Shenandoah, IA; 4 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild; other family and friends.
