Paul B. Hill

Paul B. Hill 102, Green Bay, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2013. He was born on October 1, 1910, in Pierre, South Dakota to the late Guy and Floy (Stanley) Hill. On August 17, 1938, he married Julia La Count in Green Bay. She preceded him in death on June 12, 2012. After a year of being apart, they are now reunited in heaven. Paul had been employed by Northwest Engineering. He loved to garden and he and Julia canned the harvest. He enjoyed spending time in Minnesota with family. Paul spent many afternoons helping at his son, Pat's, service station. The property that St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church is on at one time belonged to the Hill family. Paul's strong faith in God was evident in how he lived his life. Survivors include four sons, Paul L., Patrick (Kerry), Richard, and Michael (Pat) Hill; grandchildren, Greg (Lisa) Van Pay, Gina Dagneau, Brian (Natalie) Hill, Gary (Jodi) Van Pay, Tim (Stephanie) Hill, Chris Hill, Sherry Hill, Jason Hill; 11 great -grandchildren, Nick, Zach and Luke Dagneau, Brandon and Austin Van Pay, Joshua and Courtney Van Pay, Jacob Hill, T.J. and Carter Hill, and Elise Hill; a sister-in-law, Violet La Count and many nieces and nephews...[more]

aul was preceded in death by his loving wife of 73 years, Julia; daughter, Thelma Van Pay; grandson, Jeffrey Hill; great- grandson, Cody Van Pay; brothers, Dean Hill and Ted Hill; sisters, Irene Wandke and Helen Treml. Visitation will take place on Monday, May 20, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2771 Oakwood Drive, Green Bay, from 11:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 pm with Rev.
