daughter, Mary Jeanne Mourlam of Newton; son, Roger Bruce (Suki) Mourlam of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Tiffany Mourlam and David Mourlam of Dallas, TX; sisters, Helen (Elton) Triplett of Mesa, AZ; Neva Jean (Stanton) Jacobson of Story City; Shirley (Hilliard) Comeaux of Northfield, MN; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 68 years, her parents, a sister-in-law and four brothers-in-law. Mary Margaret was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ where she taught Bible School and was active in Church Circles and Women's Fellowship. She was a lifetime member of the National Education Association, an active member of RSVP, attended Congregate Meals and a longtime member of Purity Rebekah Lodge. She was a member of the Iowa Poetry Association and was a published poet. In 2005, 23 years after retiring from teaching, she was presented the "My Favorite Teacher" award by WOI-TV. She was nominated by a former second grade student who is now a teacher in the Webster City school system. Mary Margaret enjoyed collecting dolls and was a avid crafter. She enjoyed crocheting, creating greeting cards as well as jewelry. Memorials may be given to the New Testament Church of Christ, Webster City Church of Christ, Midwestern Christian Services at Peterson, Iowa, St.Jude's Children's Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
