Lois Jean Schulz, 71, of Geneva, Iowa, passed away Monday May 20, 2013, at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City, Iowa. Lois was born December 4, 1941, in Iowa Falls, Iowa, to Ubbie & Grace (Kolthoff) Harken. She attended Allison Bristow Schools and in 1962 she was married to Charles Schulz at the First Reformed Church in Bristow, Iowa. Lois held several jobs over the years including Ackley Food Processors, dietary aide at the Franklin General Hospital and cook at the Hampton-Dumont Schools. Lois enjoyed spending time with grandchildren and family, square dancing with her husband, camping and gardening. She is survived by her daughter Susan (Curt) Nolte of Geneva, daughter Sheryl (Robert) Dannen of Sheffield, sister Dorothy Schulz of Tipton, brother-in-law Ken (Karen) Schulz of Coralville, grandchildren Stacy Schulz, Ryan Dannen and Megan Dannen, great grandchildren Isaiah Nolte, Kasey Nolte and Gracie Nolte, step grandchildren Nick (Erica) Nolte, Adam Nolte, Leah (Sergio) Rodriguez, step great grandchildren Aviana Nolte, Alex Nolte, Adrian Rodriguez, Makayla Nolte, Dillon Nolte, Kaylee Nolte and Jillian Nolte.
