Irene J. Szozda

Irene "Ren" J. Szozda, 67 of Lansdale PA, died unexpectedly Saturday May 18, 2013 at Abington Memorial Hospital, Abington, PA. Born in Normandy, FRANCE, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Maryann (nee Wrobel) Szozda. She was a Secretary and Clerk for Prudential Insurance Co. prior to her retirement Mrs. Szozda was a member of Corpus Christie Church in Upper Gwynedd where she was a daily communicant for many years. Irene is the devoted mother of Jennifer M. Diedel (nee Russell) and her husband Dan Diedel, Jr. of Lansdale and James R. Russell Jr. of London, UK. Irene was the loving Grammy of Jaime and Julia Diedel. Relatives and friends may call Thursday May 23, 2013 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at Corpus Christi Church Sumneytown Pike and Supplee Road, Upper Gwynedd. Her A Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Rev. Msgr. Thomas P. Flanigan, pastor at 10:00 AM. Interment will be Private. Remembrances in her name to Corpus Christi Church, 900 Sumneytown Pike Lansdale, PA 19446 would be appreciated by the family.
