loria was honored to be appointed by Governor Thompson to serve on the State Affirmative Action Council. Gloria retired from UW-Platteville in 1995. Gloria was a cheerful, energetic, optimistic person that always looked at the bright side of things. As a Christian, she considered service to others her most important mission. She helped countless, students, coworkers, friends and persons in need financially, tutoring, mentoring and just lending an understanding, nonjudgmental ear. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Gloria is survived by her three birth children; Farshad Maltes of Madison, Farnaz Krafft of West Bend and Faryad Rezazadeh of Chicago. She is also survived by Farhad Rezazadeh of Rockford, IL., her stepson that she accepted into the family as her own son. Gloria has four grandchildren, Arthur, Anna, Zhian and Raiyuan. She is also survived by her ex-husband Reza Rezazadeh and many other loving family and friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Belmont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Heartland Hospice for all their love, attention and care given freely to Gloria. Memorial services will be held at Cress Funeral Home, 3325 E. Washington Ave. Madison WI on Friday, May 24, 2013 at 1:30 PM. A visitation will also be held prior from 1:00 PM to service time.
