Dwight Clark IOWA CITY, Iowa--Dwight Hubert Clark, 86, of Iowa City, died Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at the VA Hospital Iowa City. Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at the Columbus Junction United Methodist Church. Following the service, the American Legion Post 100 will provide military honors. Burial will take place at a later date. Visitation will be held from 9 until 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at the church. Local arrangements are by Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home. A memorial has been established in Dwight's name. Dwight was born on May 12, 1927, in Melrose, the son of L. H. and Viola G. Callen Clark. He was a US Navy veteran of World War II, serving on the U.S.S. Nicholson DD442, and in 1955 Dwight was united in marriage to Mary Robina Pike in Orange County, California. He was a member of the Columbus Junction United Methodist Church and had worked in banking financial offices and was a dispatcher for Pacific Intermountain Express.
