Kenneth Loren Roll was born on August 27, 1932, in Mountain Lake, Minnesota to Henry and Elma (Van Horssen) Roll. He received his education from Westbrook High School.
Ken grew up on a farm near Delft and later moved to several different places including the East and West Coast. After moving back, Kenneth lived in Jeffers for over twenty years and moved to Windom, Minnesota in 2008. Throughout Ken's life, he worked at various places where he worked for other farmers, worked at Toro, logging, painting railroad bridges, was a carnival worker, and other odd jobs.
He enjoyed spending time with those he loved, especially his friend, Carole Krueger of Windom for over twenty-five years. Ken especially enjoyed wetlands, woods, nature, and hunting. He used to keep a list of wildlife that he saw each day and talked about hunting throughout his senior years.
Ken moved into the Good Samaritan Society of Windom in March of 2013 where he lived until passing away on Sunday afternoon, May 26, 2013, at the age of 80.

wrence Roll of Lucan; aunt, Terena Bottema of Windom; many nieces, nephews, cousins; and special friend, Carole Krueger of Windom.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Elma Roll.
