Adrienne M. Bessler

Adrienne M. Bessler, 91, Green Bay, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2013. She was born on January 20, 1922 in Germfask, Michigan to the late John and Vera (Kelly) Doran. Adrienne married Fred Bessler on November 29, 1941 in Engadine, Michigan. Fred preceded her in death on June 3, 1998. After her children left home, Adrienne worked at the Newberry State Bank in Newberry, Michigan until her retirement. In 1993 she and her husband, Fred, moved from Newberry to Green Bay to be closer to their family. Adrienne enjoyed her flower garden, reading, crossword puzzles and playing Aggravation. She cherished time spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving are her daughter, Karen (Len) Duquette of Sobieski; two sons, Fred Bessler of Green Bay and Ed (Marlene) Bessler of Manitowoc; seven grandchildren and their spouses, Kent Janssen, Kiz Carter, Kelli (John) Plamann, Kory (Sherry) Janssen, Kevin Bessler, Kurk (Chris) Bessler and Bret (Jodi) Bessler; 10 great-grandchildren, Cheyenne and Mason Janssen, Kwynn and Cory Carter, Ryne, Cassidy, Cooper Bessler, Dalton and Brianna Bessler and Conner Bessler; one brother, Omer (Helga) Doran; three sisters, G...[more]

She was preceded in death by five brothers; four sisters; many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 1731 St. Agnes Drive, from 11:00 am until the funeral service at 12:00 noon with Rev. Scott Malme officiating.
