Mrs. Patricia Kotecki, of Port Washington, formerly of Cedarburg and Montello, passed away Saturday morning, June 1, 2013 at Harbor Club in Port Washington. She was 81 years old. Pat was born May 18, 1932 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Mark and Mary Ann Rober Dore. On August 16, 1952 she was united in marriage with Edward Kotecki at St. Gall Church in Milwaukee. For many years, she was a Study Hall Monitor for the Cedarburg High School. After Ed's retirement, Ed and Pat enjoyed 17 years at Buffalo Lake in Montello. Mrs. Kotecki was a member of St. Peter of Alcantara Catholic Church in Port Washington. She also had belonged to the Cedarburg Trekkers, a local camping group. She was an avid Packer and Badger fan, and one of her highlights was attending the Rose Bowl in California with Ed. She enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, cooking, fishing, and sewing crafts. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is further survived by two brothers James (Isabel) Dore of Palmyra, WI and Mark (Peggy) Dore of New Berlin, two sisters Mary (Dennis) Dittman of Grafton and Kitty Spaulding of Hilo, HI, sister-in-law Carol (Jerry) McLellan of FL, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 7PM on Thursday evening, June 6 at St. Peter of Alcantara Catholic Church, 1800 N. Wisconsin St. in Port Washington. Father Pat Wendt will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Port Washington. The family will receive visitors on Thursday evening from 5-7PM at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials suggested Ozaukee Lakeside Relay For Life. The family would like to thank the staff of Harbor Club and Seasons Hospice for their compassionate care and support. The Eernisse Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
