Wilbert Herbert Klapperich

WILBERT H. KLAPPERICH Willie Klapperich, of Summit Drive in Fredonia, passed away peacefully at his residence early Sunday morning, June 9, 2013. He was 74 years old. Wilbert was born on April 14, 1939 in Fond du Lac, son of Ben and Lucy Freund Klapperich. The family lived in the Mount Calvary area and he attended local schools. On October 15, 1966 Wilbert was united in marriage with Arlene Risch at St. Mary Catholic Church in Lake Church. The couple settled in Lake Church and started their family, later moving to Fredonia in 1972. Mr. Klapperich worked for Gehl Company in West Bend for 35 years, retiring in 2001. He was a member of Divine Savior Parish. Willie enjoyed working outside, and loved helping his brother on the farm. He also liked going to auctions, listening to polka music and was a big fan of the Brewers. Mr. Klapperich is survived by his wife, Arlene, their three children: Janet (David) Nack of Fredonia, Cheryl (Michael) McGarty of the Town of Belgium and Dennis (Lisa) Klapperich of Plymouth. na Klapperich and 3 brothers: Cyril (the late Arlynn), Gerald and Martin Klapperich, all of Mount Calvary, Brother-in-law John (Linda) Risch of Town of Belgium, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 6PM on Thursday, June 13th at Divine Savior, St. Rose Chapel, (311 Fredonia Ave., Fredonia). Father Jim Ernster will preside. He will be laid to rest in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery the following day. The family will receive visitors on Thursday at the CHURCH from 4-6PM. Memorials are suggested to Divine Savior Parish or the American Cancer Society. The Eernisse Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
