WALLACE BEAN WASHINGTON, Iowa - Wallace "Wally" A. Bean, 83, a former resident of Muscatine, died on Monday, June 10, 2013, at the McCreedy Home, in Washington, Iowa. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2013, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Reverend Jason Collier of the Ainsworth Community Church will officiate. Casket Bearers will be Dennis Bean, Brian Bean, Bradley Bean, Mike Bean, Jason Bean and Jamie Howland. Burial will be in Oregon Township Cemetery, Ainsworth. Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the McCreedy Home or to American Heart Association. Those left to honor his memory include one daughter, Julie Cunningham of Rock Island, Illinois; three grandsons, Jason Bean, Ray Cunningham Jr., and Zachary Cunningham; one granddaughter, Summer Cunningham; three brothers, Danny Bean of Muscatine, Larry Bean and wife, Kathy, of Ainsworth, and Jerry Bean and wife, Betty, of Ainsworth; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Paul Bean; three brothers, Roger, Stanley, and Bernard Bean; four sisters, Mary Kiesey, Geneva Gerling, Phyllis Haury, and Beverly Pershy; and a special friend, Dorothy Long.
